Mike Ditka, Chicago Bears legend and NFL Hall of Famer said he opposed players kneeling for the national anthem.

“If you can’t respect our national anthem, get the he– out of the country,” Ditka said in an interview with TMZ Sports. “That’s the way I feel. Of course, I’m old fashioned, so I’m only going to say what I feel.”

“You don’t protest against the flag and you don’t protest against this country who’s given you the opportunities to make a living playing a sport that you never thought would happen,” Ditka says. “So, I don’t want to hear all the crap.”

Mike Ditka’s comments came after New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees first said he would never agree with anyone disrespecting the flag, but after he receiving a negative response from fans and players, Brees quickly changed his stance on the topic.

Although Brees and many others have been quick to cave in, Ditka made it clear that he wont.

Ditka doesn’t kneel.
